Following our collaboration with Joanna Swan during lockdown, we have been playing with different fabrics, shapes and designs and have added a few more exciting ideas to our velvet earring collection. A beautiful hand-painted silk satin drop earring range with semi precious stones will soon be available in our on-line shop along with a stunning limited edition matching pendant.
About the Collection
Each designer piece is an original and collectable piece of work. All are handmade and hand-painted in our local Bristol Studio.
The ‘Falcke & Swan’ jewellery collection are all one-offs. The fabrics are painted in small quantities and then crafted into delicate domes and rounds before seed beads and semi-precious stones are intricately sewn into them. The result is an exciting new collection of luxurious and unique jewellery, using the highest quality materials and sterling silver fixings. Ultra light and comfortable to wear.
Collaboration
Working in the arts for the past 35 years Anna and Joanna Swan have drawn on their surroundings – natural and urban – as a source of inspiration. During the pandemic, thrown into a new world there was time to play. Photography, drawing, painting and making things. Being in the now without the pressures of business or other work commitments enabled new things to happen.
