Our story
The Great British Wristee®
Wristees® began with a simple idea: to create something practical, distinctive and a little bit different.
Founded by textile designer Anna Falcke, the brand grew from a lifelong love of fabric, colour and making. After many years running her own textile studio, creating hand-painted fabrics and collections, Anna began experimenting with ready-made fabrics and heat-pressed pleating.
The distinctive pleated fabric became the starting point for something new — and the Wristee® was born.
A different kind of fingerless glove
More than simply a fingerless glove, Wristees® bring together warmth, comfort, colour and individuality while leaving your fingers completely free.
Loved by women, men and children, they are worn by everyone from artists and musicians to gardeners, walkers and people who simply feel the cold. They are also particularly appreciated by people living with Raynaud's, keeping their wrists and hands warm is very important.
Made in Britain
Wristees® are designed in Bristol and hand-made by a small team of skilled local sewers. Keeping production in Britain is at the heart of the brand, helping us maintain quality while supporting local skills and craftsmanship.
More than a glove
From the original pleated Wristee® has grown a colourful collection of British-made accessories, including cuffs, snoods, hats, scarves and leg warmers.
Today, Wristees® can be found in independent shops across the country and online — bringing The Great British Wristee® to customers throughout the UK.
What started as one simple idea continues to evolve through new colours, fabrics and designs — with the original Wristee® always at its heart.
Wristees®
British designed. Made in Britain. Made to be different.
