Raynaud's Awareness Month 2025

Geposted von Anna Falcke am

February is Raynaud’s Awareness Month, and we aim to help raise awareness and help individuals better understand this phenomenon.

Raynaud’s is a condition that impacts the blood flow, especially in the fingers and toes, affecting 20% of adults worldwide.

Anna herself suffers with Raynaud's as do many of her customers and we have been encouraged by our customers to talk about it and share the benefits of covering the wrists which in turn helps keep the symptoms at bay.

Typically triggered by cold weather or cold environments and sometimes even emotional stress, it can cause affected areas to turn white or blue and feel numb or painful.

There are Raynaud’s organisations here to help raise awareness of the condition and there is even an online test to help more people find out if they could have Raynaud's and offer further information.

Check out SRUK’s online test below to #BeApartOfTheAnswer

We would like to share some of the experiences of our Wristee(R) customers who live with Raynaud’s and have been kind enough to write us a review:

“ I suffer from Raynaud's disease and always have cold hands, so cold they cramp up and are usually a lovely shade of purple, I can't remember how I stumbled across Wristees but I am really pleased I did, they are perfect for everyday wear and keep my hands so much warmer”.

“They arrived super quickly and are everything I hoped for, beautifully made, super soft but best of all keep my wrists and hands warm so much so that even in the recent snow my Raynard's symptoms didn't occur. Thank you”

“These Wristees are great! Both warm and lightweight, I can do daily jobs, wearing them indoors or outdoors. Helping a lot with my endlessly cold hands!”

“This is the second pair I have bought. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and these really help with the pain by keeping my wrists warm. Also they look really funky!”.

“I have owned a few pairs of ladies' Wristees for a few years. They are invaluable once the weather starts to cool and the arthritis kicks in. I've even been known to wear them in bed!

“ I had bought Wristees for warmth for doing Tai Chi and 0800 in the morning outside in the park, and they work. I can slip other gloves on top when it gets colder. My teacher really does not mind practicing in almost sub zero temperatures and in the winter dark. I realised that one of the things he does is to wear "wristees" or similar. Thanks again, looking forward to later in the year!”

“I have an arthritis problem at the moment and with it being so cold, it's doubly important to keep my little mitts warm! Mine were admired by friends I had supper with recently and they have shown me great kindness, so I chose a pair for them both and sent them off as a nice surprise”.

By sharing these stories and supporting important charities, we can help improve understanding and treatment options for those affected by Raynaud’s.

Thank you for helping to raise awareness this February and thank you for choosing our Wristees(R) to help alleviate the symptoms.
